DIAGNOdent: Caries Detection Aid

The DIAGNOdent™. The laser fluorescence detector. It is a precise, quick and reliable method to identify fissure caries and proximal caries.

Sub-surface caries lesions when the outer tooth surface seems to be intact can be extremely difficult to detect using an explorer, and the DIAGNOdent™ offers a perfect adjunct to the diagnostic arsenal in this situation.

Laser treatment is Easy, Fast and Safe to treat many conditions.

When surgery is required, conventional treatments, utilizing a scalpel and stitches can cause a great degree of discomfort. Laser treatments provide patients with greater comfort, less bleeding, faster healing and better clinical results than conventional treatments.

  • Treat Gum Disease
Bleeding gums and gum recession are common signs of gingivitis and gum disease, caused by the presence of bacteria and inflammation inside the gums. The laser gum treatment is a relatively painless procedure to remove inflamed areas and infected tissue from inside the gums.
  • Improve “Gummy” SmileLaser safely removes excess gum tissue that may give a “gummy” smile, or makes front teeth appear irregular in size or shape. With laser it is possible to improve the appearance of smile by shaping the gums, known as laser soft tissue gingival contouring.
  • Remove Oral Growths and Fix “Tongue Tie”
  • Laser Pain Therapy
    The Right Choice
Between 5-12% of people in the United States experience pain associated with TMJ disorder. Until recently, it was typically treated with injections, physical therapy, night guards, and anti-inflammatory medications that could have side effects when used over long periods of time. Now there is an effective therapy with the use of laser technology. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects the lower jaw to the bones of the skull. A condition known as Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) can cause pain and stiffness in the TMJ. When it is subjected to trauma such as an injury to the neck or head, or aggravated by clenching or teeth grinding, TMJ disorder (TMD) arises.Signs & Symptoms of TMD

    • Facial pain
    • Earaches or ringing of the ears
    • Dull, chronic headaches
    • Jaw locking
    • Clicking or popping sounds in the jaw joint
    • A bite that feels uncomfortable or “off”
    • Neck, shoulder and back pain
    • Swelling on the side of the face

Dental Cone Beam CT

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.

  • Surgical planning for impacted teeth.
  • Diagnosing temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ).
  • Accurate placement of dental implants.
  • Evaluation of the jaw, sinuses, nerve canals and nasal cavity.
  • Detecting, measuring jaw tumors.
  • Determining bone structure and tooth orientation
